CHAW’s 6th Annual Photography Exhibition

Looking for any and all types of contemporary photography… if you think it involves photography, please submit!
Over $2,000 in purchase awards, and the selected photographs will become part of a permanent public installation in DC. One of the participating artists will be invited for a solo exhibition in 2012!
Award
- Solo Exhibition in 2012 at the Capitol Hill Art Workshop
- In addition to the purchase awards, one artist from the 2012 exhibition will be invited to have a one-month solo exhibition at CHAW later in 2012. The exhibition will include a printed invitation, an opening reception, a press release, and an artist honorarium.
Call for Submissions
- CHAW is looking for any and all types of contemporary photography- traditional, alternative, black and white, color, photojournalism, fine art, time based, performance or installation.

The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop is located at 545 7th Street, SE.
Description
1. Open to any artist, working in any way with photography
2. After paying the $25.00 entry fee, you will be sent a confirmation email with instructions for how to submit your images. (3-5 images, jpeg format, files size: no larger than 1mb)
3. For time based works, attach 3-5 minutes of the work as a Quicktime movie, or provide a url where the work can be seen on the web
4. For each image, provide title, date, size, medium, price, as well as any brief description (optional)
