Juror - Russ McIntosh
Multi award winning artist, Russ McIntosh, has spent over 15 years developing and honing his unique style of digital photography. In the past two years, he has emerged as a hard working and diligent artist. Going from relative obscurity to being featured in magazines and news outlets, his work has graced galleries prominently throughout the east coast as well as select exhibitions in the continental United States, including California and Louisiana. Russ also works hard at helping other emerging artists with his blog, as well as offering tips and advice to those artists just beginning to showcase their work.
Artwork accepted for Art Extravaganza may be hand delivered or shipped to the gallery. Accepted art must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibition and cannot be removed from gallery October 13th.
Deliver accepted artwork by Saturday, September 8 during normal business hours between Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 7pm.
Shipping Your Accepted Artwork
Accepted artwork may be shipped to Arlington Arts Gallery to arrive by no later than September 14, 2012. Artists are responsible for the cost of transporting their artwork to and from Arlington Arts Gallery.
Shipped art must include a FedEx or UPS prepaid return shipping label or Airbill. Shipping to P.O. Boxes is not permitted. Place the prepaid shipping label or Airbill in an envelope and attach it inside with your art. Arlington Arts Gallery will receive and return all shipped art. The Arlington Arts Gallery shipping address and contact information will be provided to all applicants whose artwork is accepted for the exhibition.
Use care when packing your art. Cushion frame on all sides with at least 4 inches of packing material and pack in a sturdy shipping carton. Popcorn (loose foam) is not an acceptable packing material as it will allow your photograph to shift during transit.
Please note: The Arlington Arts Gallery is not responsible for artwork damaged during shipment.
Artwork exhibited may be available for purchase or listed as NFS (not for sale). Once stated, neither the price nor title of artwork may be changed. The Arlington Arts Gallery processes artwork sales and will retain a 35% commission on all artwork sold during the exhibition. Artists’ processed checks will be mailed. Artists should receive their checks within three weeks from the close of the exhibition.
Artwork Pick-up or Shipped Artwork Return
All unsold artwork will be available for pick-up beginning Tuesday, October 11th during normal business hours (Tuesday - Saturday 11am - 7pm). Artwork should be picked-up during scheduled pick-up dates. Shipped artwork will be returned shipped by Arlington Arts Gallery by the week of October 22.
Due care will be taken with all artwork. However, the Arlington Arts Gallery will not be held responsible for loss or damage to exhibited and/or shipped artwork. Artists may wish to acquire insurance to cover loss and/or damage.
