Made In The U.S.A. Artwork Receiving – June 26-27
The Del Ray Artisans will be celebrating Independence Day and the month of July with artwork inspired by the U.S.A. people, places and/or things. Artists are asked to create artwork with U.S.-made materials so as to emphasize both the origin of the materials and that we represent a large, important purchasing bloc. The goal of this exhibit is to reflect everything that represents the U.S., including the actual artistic materials themselves.
This exhibit, which is open to all area artists, will also feature a display of Art-To-Go (matted and shrink-wrapped artwork priced to sell). The show runs July 1-22. Download the Call for Entry: thedelrayartisans.org/shows/calls/
Show Opening and Artist Reception: Friday, July 1 from 7pm-10pm. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
View the Show: July 1-22, 2011 during gallery hours at the Del Ray Artisans gallery at the Nicholas A. Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301.
