This includes Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Washington DC, Baltimore, and everywhere in between. If you aren't sure if you fall within the target area, check the map on the front of the prospectus to find out.
THE WHEN? The show will run June 24 through August 21, 2011. Postmark and online deadline for submissions is 11:59PM Friday, April 15, 2011.

TAG Galleries
This past weekend, I stopped in at TAG Galleries in Fells Point, Maryland. I spoke to Corey, One of the two owners, alongside his brother Ian. And I was really impressed with their operation. They have their own in-house printer to print Canvas prints and high quality Giclee reproductions. I have been looking for a new vendor to help me produce my canvas prints, and their high quality standards and convenient locality make them a great partner to team up with. Also we spoke briefly about the possibility of me doing a group show with some of their other artists. We will definitely be in touch with each other soon!!
from Cory Woodsto russ@russmcintosh.comdate Sat, Mar 19, 2011 at 4:53 PMsubject Follow up from TAG GalleriesHey Russ, thanks for stopping in today. I'm going take a more comprehensive look at your work next week, but I do like your concept and your style, not to mention it's good to see someone have their sh!t together...your site and marketing material are all well prepared. You definitely have a unique style that I think a lot of our customers would appreciate and enjoy, so I'll talk with my brother and we'll figure out if we can get something rolling. Generally we start out on a small scale... maybe breaking out a handful or prints in a group show, and then go from there.I'll catch up with you soon. Thanks,Cory Woods443-538-5730

Call for Entry
I figure with my mental condition, this would be a good place for me to submit my work. Since my work hinges on my mental state and my disability.
Every life contains moments of change. Shift seeks to investigate those moments that alter the direction of a person’s path and create a new reality.Artists are invited to share a moment in time when a shift in their landscape occurred—it may be personal or professional, mental or physical, internal or external. Artists may submit a single work or a pair or series of works that illustrate this before-and-after transformation. All artists are asked to consider the theme Shift as it relates to their submission, although a relationship to the theme does not have to be explicit or obvious in the work itself. However, the moment of change and its connection to the submitted work should be described in the application materials.
To apply I need to fill out the CaFE online form.
