Morpheme magazine is a homegrown publication based in Washington D.C. Anything from poetry, photography, painting, prose, or whatever you consider art is welcome!

We are also looking for anyone who wants to be involved with this project in other ways, PR, designing, finances, etc. If you are interested, feel free to write!

It’s hard to nail down in a few words just what we’re looking for—traditional or experimental, loud or quiet, we like anything that’s good. All work should come via e-mail. Visual artists, send 5-10 images for consideration; poets, send 3-5 poems. Prose writers should send one story or essay at a time. Shorter prose pieces may have better odds with us, though we’d be hard-pressed to turn away anything that we just love. Send your work to:
